It's truely amazing what you can find at PetCo when you show up at the right time. This fella is a Super Delta tail male betta with wonderful balance and comfirmation ! I paid a total of about $3.49 plus tax for this guy! Now, if I only had a well bred halfmoon little girl for him !!

I'm married with 3 kids and have stumbled into the aquarium/fish keeping hobby. It started when I bought a 10 gallon setup for my daughter for Christmas in 2003. It's gone from small freshwater tanks to starting up my first saltwater FOWLR (fish only with live rock) in Oct of 2006...which quickly became a reef with additions of live coral. I have also belatedly taken up the violin at the age of 39...lol...better late than never..been at it since 2002 and wish I had started this years ago...I really enjoy it.

I actually think he is a double tail betta look closly at his tail there should be a split in it it might just be a the tip of the tail great fish I love him
Nope, not a doubletail. That's just a tear in his tailfin. He must have doubletail in him somewhere though, because that dorsal fin is incredible.
The pictures of your betta are absolutely beautiful. I've never seen a betta like that, AND your photography skills are outstanding. I'm jealous!
Thanks Dobie ! The key to nice pics is....I take ALOT of them ! LOL ! The ones I post are the ones that just happen to come out nicely...but not by any skill of mine..haha...sheer statistics. When you take 1000 shots...one, maybe two are bound to come out nice.... ;)
